Every Child Deserves a Future.
Save the Children Red River Region Head Starts & Early Head Start
Serving children 1 year to 4 years old.
The HHS Poverty Guidelines are used to determine income eligibility for participation in Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Children from homeless families and families receiving public assistance such as TANF or SSI are also eligible. Foster children are eligible regardless of their foster family’s income.
These programs will work collaboratively with families and the community in order to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate, early childhood education that will meet the diverse needs of all participating children and prepare them for a positive and successful educational experience.
Families who are interested in applying for Head Start must complete the forms below and additional pre-application requirements.
Start your application to upload these forms or bring them to Head Start’s main office, located at 319 North St. in Natchitoches. For more information on the Red River Region Head Starts call Assistant Program Director Shondale Tolbert @ (318) 663-5366
